My 09159TRX internet bridge stopped working since the migration. I have tried all of the steps outlined in the forums. Solid blue lights only. Please advise.

Hello Bill,

Are you getting a green and amber light in the back? Is the smartHUB directly plugged into the router or is it plugged into a hub or switch? Please power cycle your smartHUB and router. To do this, you will unplug your Ethernet cable from the router and then unplug the adapter from the smartHUB. After this you can unplug your router. Please leave them unplugged for about 5 minutes. When you plug them back in plug the router in first and let it completely boot up, then you can plug the Ethernet cable into the router after that the adapter. Please let us know if you continue to have issues. Thank you!

Thanks, Tori. I tried plugging directly into the back of the router and powering down and up after 5 minutes as you suggested. I get the green and yellow lights, but both blue lights come on and stay on - no blinking, no flashing, just solid blue. I still get the same error message when I try to register in MyAcuRite. "Device must be registered and be reporting data to claim it.”

Hello Bill,

What is the model number of the smartHUB? You were never able to get this smartHUB on My AcuRite is that correct? What are the amber and green lights doing on the smartHUB?

The model number is 09159TRX. That is correct, I cannot get it connected to MyAcuRite. The yellow and green lights are flashing, but both blue lights just stay on steady - no flashing, no blinking, just steady.

Hello Bill,

If the green light is flashing on the smartHUB, it is telling you that there is no active Ethernet connection.  Have you tried a different Ethernet cable? Please power down the smartHUB and router removing the Ethernet cable from the smartHUB and router.  Leave them powered down for at least 2 minutes.  After the 2 minutes power up the router. Make sure you are back online, then plug in a new Ethernet cord into the router, and then into the smartHUB and power up the smartHUB. Please let us know if this does not correct the issue. Thank you.

Thanks Jennifer, I tried all of your suggestions and it still won’t connect. Just the blue lights on steady.

Bill
