my acurite sharing :failed

I can`t add my device in my acurite.
"Device must be
connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking."
 I have my station connected via USB to my PC and the internet connection runs OK.

At the same time,i have a problem with the software PC Connect. I have filled the Device ID and allowed the "Share my Weather Data" box.

"Indoor display: detected"
"Last data received: 25/01/2018 .........."
"My acurite sharing: failed"
"Weather Underground sharing: failed"

Hello Inaki,

Please post a screen shot of what the software shows so we can take a look at it. Do you have the display USB on Mode 3? Are you using PC Connect for Windows or Mac?  Thank you.

The station is in Spain so in the device profile i don ́t have the option to put the real country and post code. Could be a problem?

Inaki  I do not use PC connect so I know very little about it, but here are some I do.  The display needs to be connected to the computer and running all the time no sleep mode I see on your picture the box is not checked. Thank you. I tried also with that box checked but the problem continues. My acurite  sharing is failing and i can ́t add a device profile in the web.

Like I said I do not use PC connect but have read on here some of the problems and some of the fixes, you could try to remove all of the Acurite / Chaney  software and then reload it they ae always telling people to do that.  Good luck hope some one from Acurite can get you set up.
