Bridge has gone dark. I see the current conditions fine on its display, but the bridge itself is dark and is not reporting to the app or the PWS network for WU.

Jim sorry this may sound so simple but you got to start somewhere. Is the power supply still plugged into the wall outlet and into the hub? Does the outlet have power, tripped breaker or GFI?

Ha! Yes, I’ve checked the cables and even tried a different outlet. It had worked for years without issue.

next test is to check the output of the power adapter should be about 5volts DC, if you don't have a volt meter you may be able to take the adapter from the display a lot of them use the same part.

Jim , did you try resetting the bridge? Turn it over and check for a reset button. I had to do this on mine. At the very beginning it has been doing its been connected for about a year. Now

Did you recently mess with the reset button on the bottom of the unit or the "toggle lights" on the internal web page?

Doing so will turn off the blue lights AND disrupt wunderground transmissions due to a bug.  (myAcurite updates will still keep working)

To fix the lights (if you want to, some like it dark), you either need to hold the reset button in again for an extended time (12 seconds or longer....can't remember exactly) and then reboot it.  Or you could go back to the internal web page and hit the "toggle lights" button again and reboot.

To fix wunderground transmissions, you will have to remove your wunderground credentials from myAcurite, then re-enter them.  This will force a refresh of your wunderground credentials to be pushed down to your SmartHUB.

I recently had my bridge die (about 3 weeks ago). No LEDs (this is key, NO LEDs on anywhere) on the sides or Ethernet connection.Tested power supply, was working. Took cover off bridge and used a meter to check points on the circuit board to make sure power was reaching the board. It was. Apparent Circuit/component failure. Contacted Acurite and I had already attempted all of the troubleshooting steps. Dead unit. About this time I received a 90% off email offer to buy a an Access. I just received it today and after a few fairly painless minutes had replaced the bridge and was up and running again.

Hello Jim,

Are you located in Maryland? We have a device registered to someone with your name from Maryland. That device has not been online since 11/11/2017. Are you getting any blue lights on the smartHUB? Are you getting an amber and green light on the smartHUB. If you are getting any lights please let us know what the lights are doing. How long have you had the smartHUB and where was it purchased?

Actually, I bought it directly from AcuRite:   AcuLink Internet Bridge with Remote Monitoring.  Ordered on January 19, 2016.

That's me, yes.  I get no lights whatsoever on the Bridge.  Bought it online (amazon most likely, but would have to see if I can find an online receipt).

Hello Jim,

Just to confirm there are no amber or green lights in the back of the smartHUB? Did the lights go out while it was storming or they just stopped working one day? Was it purchased from AcuRite or on Amazon?
