My 09150TRX AcuRite Acu-Link Internet Bridge not working

My 09150TRX has not worked for some time now. I would like to get it working again. I have spent sometime today looking at it. I took down my 5 in 1 unit cleaned it and replaced the batteries. The 5 in 1 is sending information to my display. I have everything sitting on my work bench. I went and setup a new account  and when I try and add the link to it I get this message:

  • Device must be connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking.
Both blue lights are on steady.

I logged into my router and found the 09150TRX and found the IP address and logged in to the unit.

Below is a image of the data that the web page shows, look like it is online but not receiving data from the 5 in 1 weather station. Any ideas?

Hello Ronald,

Was the device ever registered on My AcuRite? What are the amber and green light doing in the back of the smartHUB? We would recommend doing a power cycle of the smartHUB and router. Please bring a sensor within 3 feet of the smartHUB as it needs a sensor connected and transmitting to be registered online. Based off your internal page we see the smartHUB is not detecting a sensor. The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right light should be solid steady. There should be an amber light in the back that is flashing where the Ethernet is plugged in. The green light should be solid. Please power down the smartHUB and router for 2 minutes. Unplug the Ethernet cord from the back of the router. After the 2 minutes power up the router. Wait for it to come back online. Once online go ahead, and plug in the Ethernet cord, and power up the smartHUB. Try to add the device on My AcuRite.

Hi Jennifer,

Yes the device had been working great for some time util the system was migrated and since then I have not had the time to dig into the problem.

Before I contacted you I went through the forum and read about the problems with the smarthub and the fix you described above. I went and removed the sensor from the roof and had it in my shop next to the smarthub replaced the batteries and did everything you just asked me to do about six times and I also waited a day and checked and tried it again a few more times.

The green light is on and steady the yellow light is flashing, both blue lights right and left are on steady and not flashing at all.

The five in one sensor is working as I am getting a reading on the display.

Hello Ronald,

We are sorry to hear the smartHUB is not working. How long has it been since it stopped transmitting on My AcuRite? If the above steps did not correct the issue we would recommend replacing the smartHUB.
