MAC already in use - NO support fro aculink - Be ware

Acculink will not address the issue where MAC address is already in use. They actually asked me to return the product or locate the person that had registered the MAC in the first place. The item was purchased form Amazon and there no way to do that. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Acurite., get your act together and fix this issue. Products exchange hands all the time and to expect the user to have contact with original person that registered is not acceptable.

Hi Andre,

The bridge is assigned a specific Mac address and unfortunately if a person decides to sell their unit and doesn't remove their Mac address from their account, then it shows up that the bridge is still being used by an other person.  The only way to remedy that is by either contacting the person you purchased the unit from to have them delete it or call us for additional assistance in clearing the Mac address from your bridge.  If you are still experiencing problems, please call us at 877-221-1252.
