Location of Weather Station Atomic Clock Antenna?

I have a 00634A1 that has an atomic clock (WWVB receiver.) I just replaced the batteries and I assume it will take some time for it to sync, but I want to give it the best chance to do that accurately. So far I don't get any bars for Atomic Clock reception. Going to the manual, on page 10 it says to place the Main Unit with its back side facing Colorado, but on page 13, under Troubleshooting, it says "rotate the wireless sensor 90 [degrees]".

So which unit actually contains the WWVB receiving antenna? If it's in the wireless sensor. how can I identify the side that should face WWVB in Boulder, Colorado?

Overall, we're very pleased with this weather station. It seems to work well, and I was happy to be able to purchase a replacement for the wind speed rotor after a falling tree branch broke the original one.

Hello Jadney,

The atomic receiver is in the sensor for the 3n1. I was not able to locate where it said to have the display facing Colorado in the manual. I looked at the older version of this manual regarding this.  We would recommend going by the instructions located on page 13.
