Length of history declining?

I purchased an Access and in the course of setting it up noticed history was stored for 31 days. I remember looking at charts for more than 31 days from the old hub. The drop down range for charts offers the options: Today, 24 hours, 7 days, 31 days, year, all time. Now the year and all time options return the message history is only available for 31 days. So far, I haven't seen a real advantage for the Access. The range is no better. The battery backup, storing data during a power/internet outage is of limited value if I only get to see the last 31 days. Seems like prices are going way up and function is going down.

The 31 day limit has been imposed ever since myAcurite was launched.  It's not a factor of the reporting device, but of how long Acurite is willing to keeping detailed daily data on their servers.

I guess my memory is foggy. Why is there an "all time" option in the chart date range drop down?

That's the all time min/max readings and you should see it to the left area of the chart.  The Year is the year to date min/max.

As George said, the 31 day charting was implemented when they went from "My Backyard Weather" to My "Acurite" back in Oct 2016.

Hello Henry,

George & Sir Mak are right. The historical data is up to 31 days. The all time is to provide you with the high and low is the year to date minimum and maximum for the reading you are looking at.
