Learning mode icon doesn't display on my newly installed 02064C station. Also the 'up arrow' button doesn't cause any display in the WS wind

I just installed and connected my 02064C station. Most of the displays seem to be correct, but there is no learning mode icon in the Forcast window, the umbrella button doesn't do anything, and the 'up arrow' doesn't cause anything to display in the Weather Select window.

There have been problems with the forecasting due to issues at AcuRite. My forcasting window data comes and goes. They are working on a fix. Not much you can do about it but be patient.

What about the learning icon? Did you have that? Also, what about nothing showing up in the 'weather select window? It seems like a whole lot of mine just isn't working.

Hello Dwight,

If you are not getting the learning mode displayed please remove the batteries and unplug the display for about 5 minutes. Once you plug the power back in this should initiate the learning mode for the display. Thank you. Have a good day!

As per my very first email, I've tried that and it didn't work. Just tried it again (10 minutes) and the learning mode still does not display.

Hello Dwight,

Can you please attach a pic of your display. The learning mode is in the forecast area above the clouds in the upper left of the square but tiny letters and faint red. You may need to have the backlight on to see it.  Thank you. Have a good day!

Hello Dwight,

At this point we would have you send us the unit for testing under the one year warranty.  We believe the light is not turning on behind the icon but the unit is still going through the learning mode.  We would recommend waiting the 14-33 days to see if the barometric pressure and forecasting adjusts to your area.  If you want to proceed with warranty, we can do that as well.  Please let us know how you would like to proceed. Thank you and have a great day!

Warren... I have the same model from Costco. Sounds like yours is defective.

I have the same model from Costco. I have the "head" icon and none of the problems you mentioned. I had a hard time with the software, but turns out I was just too ambitious for the unit without the "bridge"- which I didn't purchase. Sounds like you got a defective unit. I wish there was a way to transmit data to iPhone/iPad app without purchasing the Bridge- which is almost as expensive as the unit.

Hi Lynette,

The 02064C does require a Windows based computer with Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 on it.  If you are using a Mac computer, we do recommend using the bridge in order to stream online.  We are currently running a sale on the bridge which brings the price down to $69.99 and if you are located in the US, for a limited time, we are offering free standard shipping on orders over $50.  If you have any questions regarding the bridge, please let us know.
