Issue- Power cord connection on new Access

My new access recently started losing connection off and on the last few days. At first I thought it was the newest firmware update but have just discovered that I have been running on batteries on the access and dropping power. After pulling the batteries and plugging the unit in with power cord it would not power up. I wiggles the power connection where it plugs into the access unit and it would power up and connect.
Please provide assistance as it is very apparent that the connection is bad.
