Dean you have two choices you could purchase a display that is a PC connect unit
https://www.acurite.com/shop-all-acurite/accessories-parts/displays-for-5-in-1-weather-sensors/yes_v... understand this would require the display and computer running 24/7 in order to post your info online, or you could purchase an Access unit   https://www.acurite.com/access-my-acurite-remote-monitoring.html  this will work with your 5 in 1 and up to 6 more compatible sensors with no computer needed  once set up.

Yes the Access unit will receive the info from your 5 in 1.  You plug the Access unit into your router and with some set up you are done. I have done two of these units with no problem, If you read on this forum some people are having problems so I cant say you wont but this is a place for people to look for help.  Seeing this is your first time hooking up to post your info online read the directions that come with the Access and here are some more from the help site, please read through first good luck.        https://kbase.myacurite.com/web/content/devices/replace-device.htm

Question:  If I buy a pc connect display, can I just buy a sensor to add to it or do I need an acurite access to pick up other sensors... I would like to read the pool water temp...  If I buy a whole new unit with Acurite access, will my current one interfere with it?

Dean I do not believe they make a PC connect display that works with sensor that has a remote probe. You already have a 5 in 1 sensor and a display.  The display will keep working as it does now with the addition of the Access unit you can see your 5 in 1 data online add the temp sensor with probe and you will see that info online.  You will not see the your indoor data off your display online if you want your indoor temp also online add another temp sensor the Access will work with up to 7 compatible sensors

I kind of like this temp humidity sensor you suggested ... Could I mount that on like the pool ladder?  And then get a display to computer for the 5 in 1?  Thank you for your help, you are very knowledgeable..

Dean you did not say which sensor you were talking about mounting to the ladder, neither of these units want its main part to get wet, the remote probe could be mounted to the ladder.  I don't follow what you mean about the display to computer for the 5 in 1.

I purchased the display with pc connect...   Would you know if there is a way to increase the display light?  There is a button on the front that will light up the display for a second but will not stay on... I see nothing in the manual about it..

Dean I'm guessing you purchased the 01036 display the light should function as follows on battery the light should stay on for a few seconds, on AC power the light should stay on until turned off. If the light does not work like this first make sure the unit is working on AC( remove batteries it should keep working). If it is working on AC and the light does not work as stated remove the batteries and the AC power and push the reset button for twenty seconds, repower unit and again press reset for twenty seconds ( you will have to reset  date and time) if this does not help you will need Acurite to help.
