Interruptions in transmitting data

I have the 5-in-1 weather sensor model #06039.
About five days ago I connected it to My AcuRite via PC Connect on my I-Mac, running macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6. I have also established an account with WUnderground KCAELKGR76.
The data transfer is set to every 30 minutes from the indoor display to my computer.

The issue is that about twice a day there is a data interruption with My AcuRite, and thus, with WUnderground, well. I maximize the PC Connect window and click "Transfer Now" and it does its thing and I am back in business for roughly six or seven hours. Then, the data transfers out seem to stop.

Any suggestions to prevent these interruptions?

Also, give me some wisdom on whether Weather Underground RapidFire Updates should be check-marked or not.

Hello John,

What are your power saving settings set on the computer?   Does the computer go to sleep at all?

No it doesn’t and that is why I am so mystified. Yesterday I closed the PC Connect app, restarted the I MAc and then opened the PC Connect this morning

Hello John,
I can see that you are currently updating on My AcuRite. Since you closed the software and restarted, has the issue continued?  Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software? Weather Underground Rapid Fire updates allows weather underground to update at 18 second intervals.  Thank you.

I have tried to uninstall and then reinstall PC Connect, but I continue to have interruptions in sharing data with My AcuRite and with Weather Underground. Would a static IP address at my home me help? My monitor never indicates any lack of signal from the 5-in-1
