new unit inaccurate temperatures
Opened box
Placed new Energizer batteries in unit
Set both on "A"
waited inside for temperature to change to indoor temperature
After 3 hours with both parts sitting on the table in front of me
Says 79 on outdoor and 73 on indoor
however temperature in house is 70

I found the error - not surprising.
I have another Acurite and it was also set to "A".
It is upstairs so I thought the two would be separated by enough distance not to interfere with each other.  I reset the new system to "B" and everything almost immediately went to the correct settings.
