My new weather station is not showing correct outdoor temp. I have tried all possible cures listed in owner manual with no luck  Thoroughly disgusted with this unit!  My previous unit worked great for 6 years before it died  Need some  help to cure the issue!

Hello Darrel,

What is the temperature showing on the thermometer and what do you think it should be showing? Do you see 4 bars on the display? Where is the sensor located?  How far from the display is the sensor? What is the name brand of batteries you are using in the thermometer? Where was it purchased at?

The temp showing on the unit is 22°, actual temp outside is 10°  Yes there are 4 bars showing,  The batteries are brand new Duracel with expiration date  of 2024.  The sensor is 40ft away from the unit in a straight line to the south, no obstructions, sight plain it through a large window      I purchased the unit less than a month ago at local WalMart..  I noted in my previous message that I have tried all recommended fixes with no positive results.  How mant times do I have to expalinto you all the things I have done( that you recommended) with no positive results!!!!!

Hello Shawna,
We have replied to you on another thread:  We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced and are happy to help get this corrected.  After doing the reset steps above, when the sensor and display are sitting side by side, what are your indoor and outdoor readings? What brand of battery are you using? When and where was this purchased? Thank you.

I also have the same issue with a brand new model 00754W5. Everything set properly, brand new Duracell batteries. I have the new unit right next to an older Accurite model that I KNOW is calibrated correctly. The temperature on both indoor and outdoor are exactly 2 degrees F higher on the NEW unit. How can this be fixed, short of returning the new unit to the retailer? I do not plan to use an inaccurate instrument for the next 5 years. Please advise. Thanks.

We just received our new Color Weather Station (Dark Theme) two days ago, upgrading from a tried and true monochrome Acurite indoor/outdoor station.  I like the display, and look forward to having that kind of information available to me, but right off the bat the new Color Station (using the new outdoor sensor that came with it) started registering 158F degrees as the outdoor temp (even though it was in the high 80's). The old station still worked accurately.  After following all the troubleshooting recommendations (change batteries, move the sensor around, change channels between A/B/C, even turning off the older outdoor sensor, etc), the only way the new Color Weather Station works is to take the wireless feed from the old outdoor sensor. When I only use the new outdoor sensor it still reads 158F (on both the old and new weather stations).  I'm obviously not alone on this issue.  Thanks.
