I have the new acurite access but it has only 11 digit and I can't launch it on my acurite

I have only 11 digit where I need to put 12, very weird! Got it two days ago...

Are you sure you have the right number?

You should only need to enter the last 6 digits, as the first 6 are always the same. (24C86E)

You're actually entering 10 additional numbers.  The Device ID is a MAC address. I had to look at mine under a magnifying glass.

Going under the assumption that it's a misprint, here's what you can do:

In your router, look up what IP address was assigned to the Access.  You should see its MAC also listed.

If you already know the IP address, open a web page to that address.  You should get a diagnostic page that will list the MAC under Device ID.

If all else fails, you can run a network scanning program like "advanced ip scanner" for windows.  It will also show you what the full MAC is as well as the IP.
