Hello Joseph,

On the rain gauge display are you seeing dashes? Do you have a signal bar displaying in the corner of the rain gauge display?  We would recommend trying the steps below:

If you are not receiving a signal from the sensor or rain collector, or the temperature is flashing, showing dashes, or stuck, the unit may be experiencing wireless interference.

Perform a hard reset:

1. Bring both the affected sensor or rain collector and display indoors and position them side by side.
2. Remove all batteries from the sensor or rain collector.
3. Remove all power from the display.
4. Wait 1 minute to ensure that any remaining power has discharged from both units.
5. Inside each battery compartment you'll find an A-B-C switch, be sure these match each other.  Both the sensor and the rain collector must be on the same channel as the display.
6. Reinstall batteries in the outdoor sensor or rain collector first.
7. Power up the display last.
8. Let units sit within a couple feet of each other for a few minutes to ensure a wireless signal is received.
*The display should receive the signal within several minutes.
9. After a connection has been established you may place the sensor or collector outdoors.
*If the signal connection fails after the units are separated try a new location for the display unit, the sensor or both.
