Actually. It's not a bad idea. When something is free, you really have no say in service or content. I would be willing to pay 2$ or 3$ A month for a service that is reliable, and holds them accountable for the product. Just think. There are many free antivirus programs out there, but read the fine print. They are not in any way responsible for updating their database to cover new viruses, and in many cases, don't catch those viruses unless you upgrade to a paid version. I think most of us on this forum pay for a good quality antivirus on an annual basis. If you don't, you are quite vulnerable.
