It is programmed correctly (I double checked). Has full bars but says no signal. I did the reset using instructions given to others with this problem. Still says no signal. There has been several alerts in my area in the last few weeks. Got the alerts on my phone but not on this radio. Next time I may try another brand.

I do like my 01528 weather station.

Hello Liz,

If you are getting no signal you want to press the pinhole reset located on the bottom of the radio.  Please let us know if you continue to experience this issue.

Have pressed reset and reprogrammed numerous times. After a few days it goes back to “NO SIGNAL” although I can listen to broadcasts. There has never been a weather alert from this radio (Acu-rite 08510) even when I get a “CODE ALERT” on my telephone. I wish I hadn’t bought this radio because it doesn’t do what I bought it to do.....alert me to dangerous weather conditions.

Hello Liz Hart,

What is the FIPS code that you have entered into your NOAA radio? When was this purchased? What kind of batteries are you using? Please make sure you are using a high quality alkaline battery such as Duracell Coppertop, Energizer alkaline, Rayovac, or Kirkland's. If this continues we would recommend resetting the NOAA radio by removing the batteries for 5 minutes, reinstalling, and then setting it back up. Thank you.
