I have a model number 01512 weather station rain gauge quit working

I have a model number 01512 weather station that I purchased in August 2016. The rain gauge is no longer functioning. I have tried to do the clean out noted on the website but it is still not working

I'm assuming that you've taken out the batteries and removed power from both the 5in1 and the display and re-installed to restart the programs. Have you run water through it (instructions for calibration in the manual) and listened for the buckets tipping? It's a set of bi-stable spoons that tip like a balance beam and pass a wand with a magnet over a reed switch that is in a rectagular plastic tube. If you hear the spoons clacking, then the next step is to check the clearance beween the wand magnet and reed switch. If you had the reed switch out of the tube during cleaning, slide it back in above the center ribs in the tube, glass reed switch up, to get it closer to the passing magnet. Do the tests with the 5in1 close to the display(indoors). If that doesn't work, take batteries out of the 5in1 and put an ohm(continuity) meter on the connections from the reed switch. You should see it switch as the magnet passes if the reed switch is ok. If it switches and yet, after reloading the batteries, the tipping buckets aren't registering in the display then there must be a problem in the electronics or software of the 5in1 OR the display. Perhaps someone you know has a similar setup and could help determine which unit has the problem?

Just got off with support and the hard reset worked which was the only thing I did not try because I wanted to keep my data

Sorry to hear you lost your data. Glad to hear your problem is solved.  I'm using the smarthub and letting Acurite store the data.  That currently has a few problems of its own while it's being debugged.

Here it is: I request the download of the export CVS file, via an internet BROWSER from the MyAcurite Export Wizard for plotting in my own computer system with Excel. The Acurite server sends it to my Email address. The file not only has missing data, it also has duplicate timestamps at 5:55 and 11:55 AM and PM. My setup is a 5in1, color display, and a Smarthub that is an updated acu-link bridge. It was sold as 01057RM.

The original post with CSV file data is: "Double 5:55 AM & PM Timestamps .." I discovered later the the 11:55 timestamps were also doubled.
