Hello E.J. ,

We can see that the sensor had a poor signal when it went offline.  How far is the sensor from the smartHUB?  We would recommend bringing the sensor in next to the smartHUB to re-establish the connection. You may need to remove the batteries from the sensor for a couple of minutes, put them back in and it should pair up.

Thank you for replying. I have replaced the batteries in the 5 in 1. I is about 40 feet from the smart-hub and has worked for years from that point, never moved. I unplugged the smart-hub for 15 minutes and re-plugged it. The 5 in 1 showed up about 3 minutes later, that was a 4:00 pm. the connection was green. I checked it again about 9:00pm and it was offline again. There was 0ne temp dot at 7:00 pm but no line on the graph. It's offline again. I have read on a couple of forums that the smart-hub antenna is to weak covering to small an area. Is there something I can do (or an update you can do) to strengthen the the receiver.

Hello E.J.,

There is no update we can do to strengthen the signal on the smartHUB. What type of construction material is the signal having to travel through?  We would recommend relocating the sensor to see if it is able to maintain a connection. It sounds like there could be some type of interference causing it to go offline.

The 5 in 1 is out in an open yard. the smarthub is in a straight line 40 feet away in a window. The window is clear double pain clear glass. Is it possible the smarthub antenna has a poor connection. It has never been dropped and sits on the window sill all by itself. Do you have a refurb center where I can buy another smarthub on the cheap ;) thank you for your help so far.

Hello E.J.,

There is no refurbish center. We do not sell refurbished products. The glass can decrease the range up to 15%  We would recommend relocating the sensor at this time. If you bring the sensor next to the smartHUB does it re-establish the connection?  You can bring it next to the smartHUB if it doesn't connect, then remove the batteries for 2 minutes, and then put them back in. Thank you.
