I appear to be getting false alerts!

At lest one or more times each day I am getting alerts that my signals from my 5 in 1 station and 3 remotes have not been connected for at least 2 hours. I check their stats in my app and it shows they are ok. I check the graphic's to see if I see a non-reporting period, but my graphs are consistantlly a constant line reporting the data. It appears to be false alerts. This started since the new Access was installed. Is this a problem AcuRite is fixing?

Hello Mike,

If you are experiencing this issue, please provide us with the following information. Thank you.

When your Access goes offline, do both sensors go offline at the same time always or does it seem one does more than the other?

Do the sensors come back online by themselves or do you have to do a power cycle to get them back up and running?

If you are sending to Weather Underground, do you lose connection to WU as well?

What building material is between the Access and the sensors?

What is the make and model of your router? Are you using a switch?

What brand of batteries do you have in your Access?

Do you have the Access within 3 feet of any major electronics, router and smartHUB included? If so, please move the Access away from the electronics as far as the Ethernet cable will allow you.

Typically all go offline (5in1, 3 remoter sensors), but occasionally not all.

Senors and base unit come back online by themselves.

Not sending to WU.

Wood, plaster board and vinyl between Access and sensors and base unit.

Router: ubee, model (TWC) DVW32CB

Batteries in Access: AC Delco

Moved Access as far as possible away from the directly connected router

Never had this problem with the Hub. Otherwise I really like my Acurite.

Thank you for any help you can give.

I have the same problem as you, sensors go offline, sometimes for an hour or more and then connect again. AcuRite replaced my access with a new one and I'm having the same results.

Problem since I replaced the Hub with the new Access.

I don't play golf (looks like a good swing in your pic,), but I do play tennis...I want your last name.

Because an ace in tennis is not only a point, but a great serve.
