Hub not working

My Acurite hub was unplugged for a few months. When I plugged it back in and then went to the myacurite website, it doesn't recognize it for some reason. I just get a message that says:

"Device must be connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking".

The hub is plugged in and connected to the router. I don't know if the blue lights on the side are supposed to blink or not. I keep hearing something about a migration that happened recently. Is this something that might be affecting my hub.

Hello Chris H,

What is the model number of your smartHUB? What are your blue lights currently doing? Do you see a green and amber light on the back? Thank you.

The model number is 09150TRX. The blue lights really aren't doing much. They used to be fairly bright. Now I just have a really dim blue light on the left side, no blue light on the right, and no green or amber lights on the back.

Hello Chris H,

The green light tells you there is power going to the smartHUB. The amber light tells you that there is a network connection. If you have no green light you should not have any blue lights on the smartHUB.   Please make sure the adapter is plugged snuggly into the smartHUB and you may want to try a different outlet to see if you get the lights to come on. Was this ever transmitting to My AcuRite? We tried to locate your account on My AcuRite but we were unable to do so based on the email address registered with the community forum.

I'll give those ideas a try when I get home. Right now the power is plugged into a power strip. I'll try a different plug. Its kind of odd because when I first plug it in, all the lights are on and bright. After a minute or so, the green and amber lights go off and then the blue lights dim considerably. I don't recall transmitting to AcuRite, however it was working previously as it was uploading info to Weatherunderground.
