Please can someone HELP me? Currently having lightning and thunder, yet my weather station isn’t detecting it. The time is still/frozen so it does not keep records. There seems to be no Australian time zone and I have tried resetting and restoring repeatedly but the time still stays still. Cmon Acurite please help me. I can’t afford to ring you internationally, especially since I paid extra to get 2 weather stations here. I had high hopes in Acurite’s weather station abilities, I never knew this would happen to me.

Hello Sherrin,

There is no Australian time zone so the time would go based off the time zone that is selected.  On the lightning detector what is the light doing? When you set the display up did you add the lightning sensor to the display?

Yes Jennifer, I added the lightning tracker the monitor says that is connected however it does not display the lightning information. The lightning sensor flashes green and flashes red when there is a storm but no data comes up on the screen. I have tried selecting different time zones and setting the clock manually, but it just stays on the time and date that I set it to and does not move, therefore it keeps no daily records.

Hello Sherrin,

We would recommend doing a factory reset on the display. You would go into the settings on the display, and select the factory reset option. Once the factory reset is done go ahead and set up the display like you are setting it up for the first time. When you do this add the lightning sensor and manually set the time.
