gauge decimal placement for Pro Weather Center Model#01518

is there a way to adjust the decimal point or does it adjust when there is a certain amout of rain? my dad is going bonkers because the gauge is set at 0.000; will the decimal change to the 00.00 position when there is enough rain?

Hello Wilson,

If rain reaches over 9.99 inches you will then show a reading of 10.00.  Does this answer your question? I apologize if I did not fully understand. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you.

The gauge looks like it's reading in the thousandths right now it's 0.120 ,

Myself it doesn't bother me but he's a stickler

Please try the steps below:




To do a factory reset: (THIS WILL CLEAR ALL OF YOUR HISTORYAND YOUR SETTINGS)

Please verify that you are using a name brand (Rayovac or Energizer) standardalkaline batteries in the display unit. We do not recommend using anything thatis heavy duty, rechargeable, store brand or Lithium inside of the display.

- Remove all power, AC adapter and batteries, from the display unit.
- Press and hold down the pin hole reset button, located in the batterycompartment, for 20 seconds.
- Plug back into AC power and insert recommended batteries.
- Press and hold down the pin hole reset button for an additional 20 seconds.
- Verify that the unit has powered on and once connection has been made,attempt to set time and date.

Did the "reboot" as explained. The decimal point is still in the same spot; the I tried to explain to my father it might have to hit 9.999 before the decimal advances
