Feature Request: Alarm for 02027 Weather Station

My motivation for buying a 02027 Weather Station is that I have some outdoor potted plants that are sensitive to frost. So far I'm happy with the Weather Station, but it would be a lot more helpful to me if I could program it to alarm when the outdoor temperature drops to 32 °F.  Please consider adding such a feature in a future version.

if this sensor supports Access, you can set alarms in MyAcurite.com and have these emailed and/or texted to you. also will show up on MyAcurite.com Alarms.

Thanks for the reply, but that's not quite what I'm looking for: an audible alarm to alert me—if I'm not looking at the monitor, or maybe if I'm asleep—that I need to go out and bring my plants into the garage.

we pull ours in or cover up when cold weather predicted rather than wait for 32 degrees or below. too many issues can prevent or delay alerts. we do not take risks with our plants that cannot survive cold.

Hello Robert,

Thank you for the feedback. We do have some weather stations that allow the audible alarms. Unfortunately your specific model  number is not one of them. I have attached a link to something comparable for you that does the audible alarm.

Thanks for the information.  It surprises me a little that the less-expensive models have an alarm feature whereas my model, which was more expensive, does not.
