Fast Clock Model 75382

Ever since I purchased this clock it runs fast. For example I set it about a month ago and it is currently 35 minutes fast. I have tried to google and trouble shoot how to fix the issue with little success. I am using a normal AA Duracell battery. I am in very hot conditions at temps 90-100 ( I live in Florida). I was looking to replace the clock but thought I would try one last ditch effort to see if there is anything that can be done to fix it.

New joke if someone calls you, "Is your clock running fast? If so you better go catch it!!"  :)  I would just call tech support on Monday.  It sounds like something you won't be able to fix.

Yeah that is what I was afraid of I've looked at it and there isn't much you can do with the clock but sit the time and change the battery. It isn't an expensive clock so that is a plus. Just not sure if I got a bad clock or this clock runs that way in general. I will try to call on Monday thanks, have a great weekend.

Hello Colleen,

Please turn the knob on the back of the clock to set the time to the correct time. Once this is done keep an eye on it to see if it starts reading incorrectly.  You do not want to have the clock in direct sunlight or near any heat sources. The clock does have a 1 year warranty on it if you are not able to get it working correctly. You can contact our AcuRite Loyalty Team at 262-249-3259 to start a warranty claim.

I have reset the clock several times it just runs fast, has done it ever since I bought it. It is not in direct sunlight as it is under my shaded patio, it is outside and I live in South Florida so it does get hot but it is never in direct sunlight or near any other heat source other than the outdoor temperatures. Unfortunately I couldn't remember who I bought the clock from until this weekend when I finally got around to trying to replace it. I purchased it from AcuRite on 7/26/16 so it is out of warranty. Should have looked a month ago :(
