Fan requires manual start

I have noticed my daytime temp reading much higher than others in the area for about a month and finally took my Pro Upgrade sensor apart. The fan requires a manual start with my finger to get it going. There are no obstructions. What should I do to resolve this problem?

Crystal,

Prior to my posting, I viewed the video, disassembled the sensor and checked for obstructions. I have none. The Fan does not start by itself regardless of location; outside in the Sun or on my workbench with a light shinning on it.  In both locations the fan will not start until I flick it with my finger.
