Factory reset SmartHub / delete WU information from it ?

I've decided to stop using my SmartHub as my 3-in-1 stopped reporting wind speed and I've moved to another brand of station.

Please can someone tell me how to factory reset / delete the WU login information that is stored in it. Currently it shows the username and password in plain text on the screen when you connect to it using the IP address.

Thanks in advance,
Charles.

Does your new station not report to WU? Or do you just no longer want to be connected to them?  You should be able to send them an e-mail and they can point you in the right direction.

Surprisingly despite all the reports on here I had a hub that actually worked fine (after Acurite had sent it back to me following me sending it to get updated following the first update fail) ...

The new station is using the same WU ID and is working just fine - I just need to know how to reset the smarthub now as I don't want to use it anymore and I don't want my user details stored on it when i bin it ;)

Hello Charles,

You would hold down the reset button for about 4 seconds to reset the smartHUB. If that doesn't work you may need to do it for about 45 seconds depending on the model of your smartHUB. Thank you.

Hi Jennifer,

I tried with 4sec, 45 sec and nothing happen. I have a 09150TRX.

I plugged in and wait more than 3 hours, and the light1 is faint blinking and the light 2 is steady.

What can I do?

Looking forward to hear from you,
