I have been browsing the support forums and have gotten conflicting information about what data the 6058M HD Display will retain during a short power outage, if any. some say as long as its only a few minutes outage, everything will be there when power comes back. some day the SECOND that unit loses power, EVERYTHING except historical data is gone and u have to start from factory settings basically. so could some one please tell me what the real deal is? or maybe even a brave soul try it out? my question is basically if i unplug the unit for 1 or 2 minutes, say to move it across the room and plug it back in, will the current daily data like highs/lows/rain and units time/date settings etc be remembered? or is it the SECOND power is gone from the unit, it loses everything except historical data?

Hello Todd,
The 06058M display does have a small internal memory. When the display loses power for only a few moments, the settings will come back. When the display loses power for a long period of time, you will need to set your date and time and your historical data should come back. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
