Either you have typed your MAC address incorrectly

I had the internet bridge setup correctly, but mistakenly hit the delete account button (my bad), now it won't let me re-register the bridge, giving the (very common) error:

  • Either you have typed your MAC address incorrectly, or that bridge is not available. Please verify your MAC address or press the 'Register' button on your bridge and try again!
Pretty sure I will need the MAC address manually set by someone with support.

Please help.

Hi Daveed,

Please make sure that your bridge lights are flashing.  If they are not, you will want to reset the bridge with the following instructions.  If that does not resolve the issue, please contact AcuRite Customer Support at 877-221-1252 to have your Mac address force registered.  Have a great day!

- unplug bridge from the outlet and the router and allow to power down for a full 2 minutes.

- plug back into router first (using a different Ethernet port if possible)

- plug back into ac adapter

- allow lights to begin flashing again, may take up to 5 minutes

- verify that the lights remain flashing and don't go solid.

If lights do not not flash continuously, please contact AcuRite Customer Support at the number above.
