Display unit power source for 01079M

I am trying to ascertain the power source for the display unit for the above model. I live in a country that is on 240v, not the 110 in the USA. So if the display unit needs to be plugged into a wall socket it won’t work without a step down transformer. Unless it ships with one of those interchangeable multi country plug adapters that some products (eg Garmin and Bose) come with. Could someone from Accurite please clarify the power source? I want of connect, the app, the sensor, the 5 in 1 pro, don’t care about the lightning monitor. Kind thanks in advance.

Hello mgelder,

The input voltage is 100V ~ 240V. The voltage is 5.0V. The current is 250mA. Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.

Hi Jennifer, thank you for your reply. So could I assume that 240 v will work here... ? And, could you describe the look of the plug itself, does it look like 2 parallel pins as is the norm in the US? As our plugs are called 3 pin, they Have 2 pins on an angle to each other like a tent and one vertically centred underneath. The unit I quoted was selected because it seemed the display unit would run on batteries. Is this also right? Thank you, I really appreciate you advice.

Hello Mgelder,

The plug is going to be made for the US you would need to get a converter for it.  The display can be run on batteries but for optimal use you would want it plugged in via the adapter.
