Model #01536. Several times now I lose all display numbers except rainfall. Power adapter also goes in and out. Was a gift for Christmas 2016. Have called a few times and the only solution I get is reset and lose your data. Also would not replace the adapter when I called last year since I did not have a receipt, explained numerous times that it was a gift and i had no receipt. Finally they told me it was out of warranty as it was only a 6 month warranty. I am about to toss the whole POS since every time I call I get no help. I should not have to reset everytime something burps and six month warranty on a product shows a lack of confidence in your product. If it is good as your company claims have a little backbone instead of trying to sell more crappy product, if it didn't work originally what makes you think I will trust you again. Will be the last product I buy from this company since customer service seems to only have stock answers.

Hello Dan,
We do offer a one year warranty from the date of purchase or in your case, the date the gift was given however, we do require a proof of purchase or registration for the product.  Without this we are not able to offer warranty coverage. I understand you have gone through troubleshooting. We do want to make sure all steps have been taken. Please verify you are using the battery recommendations and try the troubleshooting steps listed below. Thank you.

The following instructions should help resolve any issues you are having with your display.

Please verify that you are using a name brand (Rayovac or Energizer) standard alkaline batteries in the display unit. We do not recommend using anything that is heavy duty, rechargeable, store brand or Lithium inside of the display.

- Remove all power, AC adapter and batteries from the display unit.
- Press and hold down the pin hole reset button, located in the battery compartment, for 20 seconds.
- Plug back into AC power and insert recommended batteries.
- Press and hold down the pin hole reset button for an additional 20 seconds.
- Verify that the unit has powered on and once connection has been made, attempt to set time and date.
