Different displays cant connect to the same sensors

I have different model displays, so far i cant figure out how they all can connect to the outdoor 5 in 1 sensor.  i am guessing each unit uses itself as the indoor sensor.  I have the hub and it can see my indoor sensor.  I believe each sensor just has three channels.  The equipment is at a remote location which i am not at currently, so if model numbers are needed, i will have to wait to provide that information.

Don't know if you can set the sensor ID in the displays. I have two identical sensors that I read with a linux based program. One has sensor ID 101 and the other -18.
On the simple displays that came with the sensor I am not aware of a way to set the sensor ID, so I assume this is fixed set in the factory or it binds to the first sensor it sees at startup. I have no recollection that the sensor ID is listed on the sensors so you wouldn't know what to program anyway.

Bruce as long as they are all 5 in 1 compatible displays you can have as many as you want, they just need to be set to the same ABC channel. Now you say you have a hub and that it sees your indoor sensor so I'm guessing you have a regular temp / humid sensor because the hub does not pick up the display , the hub and the displays are receivers and the sensors are the transmitters.

thanks both.  So if two of the three display units were sold with a outdoor temp and humidity sensor only, it cant connect and see data from the 5 in 1?  How can i see or adjust (?) the sensor ID??

Those sensors would not be compatible with the 5 in 1 display, nor the 5 in 1 with that display.
IMHO Acurite needs a simple compatibility matrix on their store site to help avoid confusion  of what works with what

Bruce here is a list of all the 5 in 1 compatible sensors https://www.acurite.com/accessories-parts/displays-for-5-in-1-weather-sensors.html. In order to receive info from a 5 in 1 sensor the display needs to be a 5 in 1 display.  now to answer your other question some of Acurites products that have a display and a temp/humid sensor do not have an ABC setting these switches are normally in the battery compartment.

Hello Bruce,
All of our 5in1 displays are compatible with all of our 5in1 sensors. You can use as many displays as you would like to one sensor as long as all 5in1 displays are on the same channel the sensor is on. The 5in1 sensor will not interfere with the basic 2in1 or a 3in1 sensor.  If you are using a different sensor than the 5in1 it will probably not show on the 5in1 display unit.  We only have 2 displays that are compatible with add on sensors.  Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
