Default rain gauge screw positions

Need to know the factory set rain gauge screw positions for a 01075RM.  I boneheadedly unpacked the new unit and noticed some "loose screws" on the bottom, which I immediately tightened.  I was wondering how many turns I should adjust each screw so I can have at least a baseline to go off of before calibrating.
Thanks for any help or tips!

Hello Brady,

If both rain gauge calibration screws were completely tightened or removed, you may reset the calibration to a close starting point by performing these steps.

  • Note: The unit will need to be calibrated for maximum accuracy.

1. Screw both screws in completely.
2. Unscrew both screws 5 1/4 turns.
3. Calibrate the rain gauge of the unit using the calibration procedure detailed in the unit's manual

Below we have added a link that will show you how to calibrate the unit further. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you and have a great day!
