Data not sending to online resources

Hi,

Super-frustrated. I have been working on my new weather station and it's giving me fits.

I have my AcuRite 01525-RX indoor station connected via USB to my Mac running OS 10.12.6 (Sierra). 

1. I have configured the station with USB mode 3
2. Plugged into my computer and my PC Connect software says that it is receiving data (last time stamp was one minute ago) and AcuRite Sharing & WU Sharing both show as "Data Sending"
3. I have clicked "Prevent computer from going to sleep" and also configured my settings to prevent the computer from going to sleep.  
4.  I leave the software running, although I do minimize it on the screen it should still be running in the background.

About 30 minutes after turning everything on, I get emails telling me that both AcuRite and WU have lost the data feed.  When I return to the computer, the software is still running.

I decided to remove my device from my myAcuRite account and reinstall it.  The PC Connected software is still showing that I am sending data and it is connected.  However, MyAcuRite is giving me this message when I try and connect it:  
  • Device must be connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking.
I've tried shutting down the browser, I've quadruple checked the device ID To make sure I'm putting it in with uppercase letters, etc. I've done everything I can find and it will not connect to my AcuRite account.  This is super, super frustrating.  

I tried this with Safari, Firefox and Chrome.

Have you registered it?  Does it show under devices on MyAcurite?

I can't add it to my account. It won't recognize it

Hello Kevin,
Is your display updating with current sensor data?  On the software does it show you a current time stamp under Status? If not, the display is not transmitting data. We would recommend unplugging the display and closing the software. If you open the software it should say "Indoor display not detected" under Status. Then follow these steps: If you are using a PC Connect display please verify the display is on Mode 3. PC Connect needs to be connected to add the MAC address/Device ID. Under Data Transfer you should check the box if you want automatic data transfers, then chose how often you would like them to transfer. Below you should see Weather Sharing, check the box that says Share my Weather Data, a box should appear asking for your Device ID, enter the 12 digit ID and click 'Share Now'. Under status you should see the display detected, below you should see a time stamp of the current data transfer. Below you should see My AcuRite Sharing Active. After this is set up you can click the plus button on My AcuRite and add your Display Device ID.  Please let us know if you continue to have issues.  Thank you.
