I am not seeing current data on my display, but it's getting to MyAcurite website. Is there an easy Fix? Biggest storm in 10 years here in So Cal.

Jimbo it sounds like a reset of your display is in order. You did not say if this is a new system or if it ever worked and just stopped, so I'm guessing here.

Hi Ledrak - thanks for your suggestion. I've been holding off on the reset to my display to avoid the loss of local data. I've had the system since last October. Magically, the display "caught-up" about an hour ago - much to my surprise. I just passed 4 inches of rain today, and it's still going strong.

I had thought that perhaps it had lost contact w/ the bridge - but it seems the bridge has been sending data successfully to the internet.

Hello Jimbo,

We would recommend doing a hard reset.

  1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors side by side.
  2. Remove batteries from the sensor.
  3. Remove batteries from the display unit and unplug the AC adapter (if applicable).
  4. Wait 1 minute to ensure any remaining battery power is discharged from both units.
  5. Change the A-B-C channel on both the sensor and display making sure they match.
  6. Reinstall batteries in outdoor sensor first.
  7. Reinstall batteries in display unit second.
  8. Let the units sit within a couple feet of each other for 20 minutes to ensure a wireless signal is received.
    * The display should receive the signal within several minutes.
  9. After a connection has been established you may place the sensor outdoors.
*If the signal connection fails after the units are separated try a new or different location for the display unit, the sensor or both

Jimbo the hub does not communicate with the display they are both receivers the 5 in 1 sensor is the transmitter it sends data to both the hub and the display. So not sure what happened but your system is back that's good.

Beauiful - thanks for the clarification. That's really helpful in understanding how it's working. I'm so glad it's back to working with such a significant storm!!

Jennifer - that's a swell idea... except that I've received over 4" of rain this morning, and it's still raining hard. Biggest storm in 10 years going on, and you can be assured that I'm NOT going to climb onto my roof and disassemble the sensor!!!

Thankfully, for unexpected reasons - the display has decided to speak to the sensor again - all by itself. There is (and always has been) a very solid wireless connection between the two. Hopefully this will be a rare instance. I hardly wanted to be missing out on my data on a day like today. A day that is making the national news.

Thx for your reply.
