on the app my sensor says its 19 deg f but the 7 day dark sky forcast below says its 45 deg f out and going to rain. the forcast is obviously for a different location but i dont know how to change it. its very annoying and also makes people think the entire debice is extremely inaccurate. any ideas?

In myAcurite, make sure your device's postal address is set properly, and if necessary you might need to tweak the lat/long for the device's location.

Hello Chris,

I agree with George, you do want to make sure the address on the account is as accurate as possible because that is where Dark Sky gets the forecast.  When looking at your account I can see you have a 5in1 and a 3in1 sensor reading a 20° difference. Do you use a display with your 5in1? Where is the 5in1 located? Where is your 3in1 located? Thank you.

thanks for the info. the 5 in 1 is on top of my roof. that’s the main weather station. the 3 in 1 i just recently put down near my chicken coop to let me know the ground temp and wind. don’t want the ladies to be cold. both are at the same address.

the forecast and the actual station readings are now closer but for a while they were far apart. 19° station at 44° dark sky

Chris looking at you picture the 19.3 from your 5 in 1 is the current temp, the 44 from dark sky is the forecast high for the day not the current temp.

agreed.
but i checked another weather site and the high was close to the current 19°. plus the low on dark sky is shown as 29°. and the weather for the week was forcasted as in the teens and twenties, not the 40’s as on dark sky.

its actually ok, i re inputted the location info and its much more accurate. i had been adding and deleting in order to get both locations working with wu so it probably got screwed up somehow.

I have the same problem and the latitude and longitude listed are WAY off.  it shows -45.878/170.502 and I'm actually at 44.62/-89.0011
