I've been on hold wtih AcuRite for 75 minutes (so far) the recording started off saying I was number 30 in line and it will be 90 minutes.  Now it says it will be 230 minutes.  First of all 30th in line is this product so bad that that many people that are needing help-should I just return it and don't bother? Secondly well obviously the timing of hold time is ridiculous how am I on hold for 75 minutes and my hold time goes up!?  I bought the little AcuRite Thermometer model 00307.  I need to know how to do a reset on the temperature because since i took it out of the package its temp is 3 degrees off form the thermometers (and laser).  I thought maybe I should do a reset to see if that helps.  Its a cute little thermometer but I beginning to think my time is more valuable then the device.   (and yes I’m still holding on the phone).

My sympathies Stephanie. Telephone customer service at Acurite is a total insult to their customers. It would be interesting to calculate how much money Acurite has cost its customers in wasted hours spent calling their customer support lines and getting zero assistance. Do they care about the cost of their customers wasted time? Obviously not.
My advice to you is to post your question/problem here and on their Acurite facebook page and forget about the phones. You might get lucky and have an employee (or more likely a knowledgeable customer) give you some advice.

I've been waiting  75 minutes on the phone.. I've moved from 4th to 3rd.  Disgusting!
