Consistent remote battery drain in less than 1 week with standard AA Duracell Alkaline. Have replaced 3 times with tested batteries in the past month.

Hello consumer,

What indication are you receiving that the batteries are drained?  After removing the batteries from the remote have you tested them, either with a battery tester or by placing them in a different electronic, to be sure they are dead or weak?

Many times a loss of connection between the units will cause a low battery indicator because the display can't find the sensor so it "thinks" the batteries are dead.
