Yesterday we had a power outage and my 5in1 lost connection with MyAcurite. I have tried all morning to reconnect with the flaky PCConnect software which hangs every time I try. Then I have to ask myself why I am wasting my time? The data it puts on the dashboard is, for the most part, inaccurate garbage. This device reflects erroneous temperatures, erroneous rainfall. and the PCConnect software is crap! On a positive note, the device looks nice. But then there are many useless things that have that attribute, and many cost far less. If this is the "professional" unit, I'd hate to see what the amateur one is like. On the other hand, I have a very cheap WalMart Acurite indoor outdoor thermometer that has reflected very accurite temps for years. Judging from the myriad of complaints I see concerning Acurite devices It seems that Acurite has ventured into waters far deeper than they can cope with. Perhaps they are using an Acurite depth measuring device! Acurite, please stop selling these as "professional" weather devices and re-market them as cheap Chinese amusement devices!

Hello Roger,

We are sorry to hear you are frustrated. We can see you were able to get your system back online. We would like to address the other issues you are experiencing with inaccurate readings. The PC Connect software is something that we are currently looking into. We don't have a time frame as to when the issues will be fixed, but we are looking into it.  Can you please provide us with more details as far as the inaccurate  so we can look into this for you? Thank you.
