If you receive anything back from AcuRite, repair of defective product wise,  make sure you have been sent everything you sent in.  Call and complain and you are the bad guy.  They sent me the spiny thing of the 3-1, but not the base unit.  They should have just taken a new unit off the shelf to compensate for poor product.

Hello Ken,

 We are sorry for your frustration. I do see that you have been in contact with one of our AcuRite Loyalty reps. The sensor was replaced and the display tested fine. Which would mean that the two would be shipped out separately. If you have any further questions or concerns please let us know. Thank you.
