Hi Ron,

The following troubleshooting steps should help:

  1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and position them side by side.
  2. Remove all batteries from the sensor.
  3. Remove all batteries from the display unit.
  4. Wait 1 minute to ensure that any remaining battery power has discharged from both units.
  5. If inside each battery compartment you find an A-B-C switch, be sure these match each other.  You may also want to try changing to a different setting.
  6. Reinstall batteries in outdoor sensor first.
  7. Reinstall batteries (and/or connect AC adapter) in display last.
  8. Let units sit within a couple feet of each other for 5 minutes to ensure a wireless signal is received.
*The display should receive the signal within several minutes.
  9. After a connection has been established you may place the sensor outdoors.
*If the signal connection fails after the units are separated try a new location for the display unit, the sensor or both.

Have a great day!

Hi. I have the same problem, and followed above with no success, the indoor unit keep showing dashes. This pair is less than 6 month old.

Hi Julio,

What is the model number of the weather station that you have?

I, too have an issue with my Outdoor sensor not working; model #00419BP. I no longer get any readings, just dashes for the outdoor display and no light on the sensor, model #00606TX. I followed the directions above for batteries removal and neither the existing batteries nor new batteries seem to make a difference; placement changes of the display unit don't help, either. I purchased this unit on 1/16/2016 and registered it the same day. What's next?

I called, Alyssa, but I could not wait for the 14 other folks ahead of me. Email is a better option. Thanks.
