Can't connect sensor with app on iPhone

In the last five days my app (iPhone 5) will no longer connect with the sensor. Is there a way to reconnect them? When I try I get a notice that the sensor is already activated

Hi Keith,

We recommend logging into www.acu-link.com on your internet browser and verify that AcuRite HQ has been unfollowed on your dashboard.  Once this is completed, you will want to reboot your phone and then reopen the app.  If this does not resolve the issue, please let us know.

To unfollow AcuRite HQ, please follow the steps below:


- In the upper right hand corner you will see a white box with your email address on it, please click on that box.
- In the drop down menu, please select "Follow my friends bridge"
- You will now see a box that has a red and white "X" with the following next to it: 24:C8:6E:01:16:C3 Lake Geneva, WI 53147
- Click on the red and white "X"
- You will now get a pop up window that will ask you if you want to unsubscribe from that bridge, please hit okay to confirm.

This worked. Thanks. However, I seem to have lost some historical data on my app that the display still has. Is there a way to sync the two?

Hi Keith,

You shouldn't have lost any history from your own weather station on My Backyard Weather.  The history that you would have lost would have been from AcuRite HQ.  If you have any additional questions, please let us know.  Have a great day!

On my tabletop display it shows different monthly rainfall totals than on the app. Also on the app when I pull up the last few days bar graph, it shows most days as unavailable. It's like the app missed a week of readings that the display still recorded

Hi Keith,

My Backyard Weather shows your information in "real time".  If you set up your online streaming after you had set up your weather station, there could be a period of time that information was not recorded on the account.

I have registered my device and have the confirmation, however, I can't seem to log on using my iPhone. I get a message that I need to "register" the device and it needs to be collecting data before I can access the app. Please advise. Tha k you.
