The HUB is for long term data recording as it stays on line 24/7.  PC Connect only logs info when connected to PC and PC is on.

YES< you can run both at same time.  I do.  You need to make sure you add your PC Connect under devices in MYACURITE.

Hello Mike,

Via PC Connect your display will store data for 2 weeks. You can then transfer that data to your computer via the PC Connect software. To do this the display does not have to be plugged in at all times. You want to keep it plugged in all the time if you plan on streaming to My AcuRite.  If you have the smartHUB there is no reason to stream both online, as it just duplicates the information. You would just need to remember at the 2 week period to plug the display in to transfer the data. If you forget and it's longer than 2 weeks, the display will stop collecting the data until the data that is stored is either transferred, or cleared meaning the display is reset.

You also have the option on My AcuRite to download the data from there into a CSV file. This is how you would download the data if you were using the smartHUB.

Go to charts & details. You would click on the cloud with the arrow. Once that is done, you would select the range of the download. It can be up to 31 days worth of data.  Select the email address you want it sent to (this will need to be set up under alert contacts) Once that is done, an email will be sent to you with a link to download the information where you can view it in a CSV file. This will be the data collected while you were streaming. If for some reason you were not streaming it will not collect the data that was missed.
