Can’t get sensors to respond

I recently moved and haven’t used my system or sensor in a couple months. I plugged everything in and it says on the app it’s connected and that sensors are responding but they show red and no change in temperature. I replaced batteries too. I’m not sure if I need to remove it from my app and re add everything or just wait. Thoughts?

It is transmitting in my display but my app isn’t showing the temp and it won’t let me add a new device. Also the lights are not blinking on the thing plugged into the router.

The little thing I plug into the router has two blue lights but they are solid and no flashing at all. My sensors are flashing the red light so they are active. My app says everything is connected My sensors show red with no updated temp. Can I remove my sensors and reinstall them in the app? If tried rebooting and I’m right next to the little hub thing with both sensors. I’m afraid to uninstall and then it tells me I can reinstall it. I can watch the temp on my little thing that sits on the counter but it’s for my baby chicks and I want to make sure they aren’t too cold or hot and want to get notifications from the app.

Kayla,
Sounds like the problem is with the smart hub part of the set up, that is the box that you plug into your router. With the App on your phone or on a computer you will need to log into your account on MyAcurite and make sure that the SmartHub is registered. Can you also let us know what the lights are showing next to the Ethernet cable between the router and the Smart Hub at both ends?

Hello Kayla,
I was not able to locate an account under the email used for community forum. Please power cycle your smartHUB and router. To do this, you will unplug your Ethernet cable from the router then the adapter for the HUB. After this you can unplug your router. Please leave them unplugged for about 5 minutes. When you plug them back in plug the router in first and let it completely boot up, then you can plug the Ethernet cable into the router after that the adapter.  Please let us know if you continue to have this issue.
