Can not download data from 01512

I can not get data to download from my Accurite display to my PC.  I have tried doing the things listed in several of the other posts that are like this one and it still will not download.  I have reloaded the software, deleted the device and re-installed it, etc., etc. and still will not download.  Sometimes the software sees the fact that data is there to download, other times it does not - it either case it does not download.  I would like to get this working, since I just setup an account with Wunderground to send data to them, but I have no data now...........

Can you recheck the model of your display? The 01512 is not listed as a PC connect unit.

OK, I checked the display and could not find a model number on it anywhere.  What I was basing this on was the picture of the 5-in-1 weather station and display that is shown on the web-page for the 01512, 01512A1, 01512M, 01531DI, and 01512MA models.  Since I can not find a model number on the display I guess I will have to forgo the downloading of the data and ignore the display that is telling me that it is full and needs to be downloaded.  Maybe if the model number was more easily found I could get it to you.

on some of the displays you need to remove the base to see the number.  maybe this will help

After looking at the fine print I found a model number that I suspect is for the display, it is: 02032C.  I hope that helps.  I did not realize that there would be so much emphasis placed on different model numbers of the display, if I referred to the web-page model numbers of the entire set that would be sufficient.

yes the 02032 comes back as a PC connect unit. hope you can find something in that pc connect book.

Do you have the display in the correct USB mode?  I think there are three or four settings, and only one of those will work for history download.

The book says to set to either 1 or 3, I have tried both with no result.  In fact I have tried all four just to see what might happen - nothing.  I have deleted the device in Windows and let it re-install without a change as well.  By the way, it worked once just shortly after I got the display, about a year ago, and then quit working and has not worked since.

I know you said the book said 1 or 3 but if you look on page 19 it says for your model to set it to 3 or 4  before connecting it to the computer.

If you look at my entire response, I did say that I tried all 4 settings without it working.  Also, another thing I just thought of,this may have worked only prior to upgrading my PC to Windows 10, I cannot say for sure one way or the other.  I know that the PC started on Windows 7 and is now Windows 10.
