Is it OK to use Model #: 967ES, 01170M in freezer to track temp and RH? We have 3 walk-in coolers to store hops in. Durring harvest the temp would be set at 28F, and final product storage is 18 to 20F. Also, the freezer walls are sheet metal, so will the signal get to the monitor device?

Hello Mark,

The 06044 room sensors with the display on them are not meant to be put in a fridge or freezer. Putting it in the fridge or freezer could cause the display board to go bad. It was not designed for moisture and has nothing to protect the display from the elements. You may have an issue with the signal getting through as well. Metal can reduce the signal up to 100%.
