Bridge/Over the internet recording keeps resting to 0.00in after rain event ends

My weather display is showing the correct rain totals but the over internet recording both on WU and AcuRite dashboard is resting to 0.00 in after the rain stops and showing incorrect totals. grrr! AcuRite fix please! It's been a week now.

We are currently looking into the rain issues some users are experiencing. We are following this closely and watching each of the accounts that are brought to our attention. At one point we did feel we had a fix to put into place, unfortunately through testing, we found that this fix would have caused other issues and we did not want to compound any frustrations. We understand that accurate data is important to you and we agree wholeheartedly with you. We have full confidence that we will find the best resolution for this problem and as soon as we have details to share we will update our users on the community forum as soon as we have one. Had similar issue in last rain event yesterday. 5 in 1 measured about 2" but bridge only registered about 1/2".

We have been aware of this issue as well.  We are releasing an update today that will correct this issue.  Unfortunately, the rain issue is not part of this update. I assure you we are working on the rain issue.  Thank you.

It finially stop resting to 0.00 after every rain event on the 1st. , but then yesterday it's went back to resting.

Hello Ben,

What the does the display read for rainfall on the 11th of July? We show there is no rain registered on My AcuRite for that day, and there were missed transmissions between 9:25am and 9:45am meaning that information was not transmitting during that time frame.

I have 2 displays both say 0.03. I was home when it rained at around 1:30pm. I was changing the batteries between 9:30am-9:45am.

Hello Ben,

What is the model number of your smartHUB? When you state that you were changing batteries you are referring to in the outdoor sensor correct?  Did you take your smartHUB offline at all during this day? Right now at 2:10pm your time I show that you have 0.14 registered for rain on My AcuRite. Is that the correct rainfall amount?

Yes that is the correct amount of rain for today 0.14

HUB model 09150TRX

Yes the outdoor senor was the batteries I was changing. Maybe yesterday was just a fluke/glitch issue but the same thing happened 6 months ago.

Hello Ben,

At this time we would recommend keeping an eye on it, and let us know if the problem persists. It is hard to say as to why it registered that way it could have been some type of glitch like you stated but something you do want to keep an eye on.

I'm seeing similar issues. My station is reporting .33" today but the MyAcuRite app is reporting 0" and weather underground isn't reporting any accumulations but is reporting rain rates. Not total accumulation.

Hello Michael,

Did you receive rainfall that day? If so can you provide a time around when the rainfall was going on? Once we have this information we will be able to view your account and try to pin point what the issue could be.

What time did you have rain on the 13th?  We do see that rain was recorded on the 14th. Please keep an eye on this.  Thank you.
