blank indoor displays

Indoor displays were both frozen in place. The Smart Hub is receiving info from 5-in-1 sensor and updating to Wunderground. I reset both displays now they are blank and cannot find a signal. Not sure where to go from here. Obviously the 5-in-1 is sending out a signal because Smart Hub is working. Things were working fine a couple days ago.

Hello RandyN1KWF,

We would recommend a hard reset on both the display and sensor.
  1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors side by side.
  2. Remove batteries from the sensor.
  3. Remove batteries from the display unit and unplug the AC adapter (if applicable).
  4. Wait 1 minute to ensure any remaining battery power is discharged from both units.
  5. Change the A-B-C switch on both the display and sensor making sure they both match.
  6. Reinstall batteries in outdoor sensor first.
  7. Reinstall batteries in display unit second.
  8. Let the units sit within a couple feet of each other for 20 minutes to ensure a wireless signal is received.
    * The display should receive the signal within several minutes.
  9. After a connection has been established you may place the sensor outdoors.
*If the signal connection fails after the units are separated try a new or different location for the display unit, the sensor or both.
If this does not correct the problem, please let us know. Thank you. Enjoy your day!

Thanks for the replay Jennifer.
The sensor is at the top of my tower at 100'. I have a display upstairs and a display downstairs.
My wife figured this out by moving the upstairs display frequency slider to "C" from "A" and it worked. Did the same thing downsatirs and it worked also. Not sure why this would happen unless someone is climbing the tower and taking the sensor apart and changing it.
Well, the sensors stopped working again this morning. I switched the sensors back to "A" on both and all is fine! No changes have taken place on the sensor.
Have you had issues with RF interfering with the sensor and changing that channel without physically moving the slider?

Hello RandyN1KWF,

Do you have any other 5n1 sensors or a neighbor that could be transmitting a sensor? If their sensor is on the A channel your display could pick it up. Thank you. Enjoy your day!
