Big Gap on MyAcurite This Morning 3/21/17

I noticed a big gap (longer than one hour) on WU this morning 3/21/17 and when I check MYAcurite it was there also. I want to report this as a problem. I also noticed some shorter gaps the day before on WU. All data was affected, not just temperature.

Don't know if it's related to the "Gap" everyone mentions but my PC Connect also caused the following message on my weather station site:  
"This PWS is not reportingLast updated: 3/21/2017, 1:28:26 AM,
7 hours ago"

Hello Marshall,

The AcuRite Connect software is something that we no longer support. Do you have the latest PC Connect downloaded on the computer as well, or are you just using AcuRite Connect. We show your station hasn't updated since the 21st. Thank you.

I was using the latest version on Windows 7; that version reported constantly to AcuRite but would eventually lose the connection to WeatherUnderground. I'm now using the old version of AcuRite connect on Windows 8 and it stays connected to WeatherUnderground but does not upload to AcuRite. If I have to choose, I'd rather have it connect to WeatherUnderground. As for Windows 10, the AcuRite PcConnect will not even start on my Windows 10. SOMEONE bring back Windows XP!

Hello Marshall,

When you try to download on your Windows 10 computer do you get an error message or what happens when you try to download? What version of Windows 10 are you using?

I'm sticking to Windows 8 for this, it's been working on WeatherUnderground for more than 24 hours now, albeit it does not register on my Acurite Dashboard. On Windows 10 I downloaded and installed it but it just does not open and run. Have not used Windows 10 for over a month so I do not know the version. I'm running this virtually on Mac OS 10.6.8. I do not use the latest Mac OS because my go to applications (PhtoShop, After Effects and FinalCut, etc.) will not run on anything over 10.6.8). I did boot up in ElCapitan and downloaded and ran the Acurite app on that but 10.6.8 is the system that I'm always on.

I also had a large gap on MyAcuRite this morning. I am also having problems with information being sent to Weather Underground. No information was sent to WU from 9:33 pm, yesterday to 5:23, this morning and again from 6:42 to 8:52 this morning. Not sure if this is a AcuRite or a Weather Underground issue.

My gaps on both MyAcuRite and Weather Underground are still happening this morning.

I have also seen something that I have not seen before, a long gap in the rainfall information on MyAcuRite! I have at times seen 10 to 15 minute gaps but nothing that compares to the one that I am seeing this morning.

I have not seen any major gaps in either MyAcuRite or WU since 10:00 A.M. on 03/21/17. Hopefully this issue has been resolved. Thank you.

Hello Robert B ,

If you are getting a gap on Weather Underground and My AcuRite during the same time frame. This indicates that your information was not transmitting. This would be why you would see the gaps in both places. This could be missed transmissions where the sensor did not check in, or that your smartHUB was offline.  Please let us know if you continue to experience the problem. Thank you.

Also, showing gaps same time on my two tower sensors that are NOT shared to WU.

Hello Robert B,

If you are showing gaps on My AcuRite it is due to a missed transmission or the smartHUB going offline. Do you have the smartHUB plugged directly into the router? What is the model number of the smartHUB?  What type of internet connection do you have? Thank you.

Found problem with ISP instability (Windstream DSL). Fixed.

I have provided your information to the development team. When I pulled up your charts & details for the 21st on My AcuRite I do not see the gaps that are in your screen shots.  I will update you once I have further information. Thank you.
