I asked the same question of the Tech Service at Chaney a few weeks ago.  This is the response I received,
"The barometric pressure reading is taken by a sensor inside the
Bridge. On the display unit, there is also a pressure sensor.
Pressure readings do not vary between indoor and outdoor locations,
so this will not affect their accuracy."

If you have an AcuRite bridge, it, too, has a barometric sensor and that's what My Backyard Weather gets for its report.  As George said, the display also has a barometric sensor.

Hi John,

George is correct. Your display console holds the pressure sensor.

If you are using the AcuLink Bridge, the Bridge will have its own pressure sensor.
